  •  Favorite of José Rizal; Chinese-Filipino cuisine

Arroceros Forest Park

  • Often called Manila’s Last Lung, this 2.7-hectare urban forest park sits along the south bank of the Pasig River, just outside Intramuros and adjacent to the Manila Metropolitan Theater.

Manila Ocean Park

  • Philippines’ first world-class oceanarium and marine theme park, located behind Quirino Grandstand
  • Entrance fee: approximately ₱680–₱750 per person for a standard package including 8 attractions (Oceanarium, Sea Lion Show, Penguin Exhibit, Creepy Crawlies, Bird Show, etc.); promotional bundles are available

University of Santo Tomas (UST) Museum

  • Oldest existing university in Asia (1611); historic campus
  • Walk-in guests are welcome, but groups of 15 or more are encouraged to book in advance
  • Entrance fee: ₱30 (Non-Thomasian students with ID); ₱50 (Non-students)
  • Open from 10 AM – 4:30 PM (Mon); 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Tues–Fri)

Metropolitan Theater (MET)

  • Art Deco-style performance venue, newly restored
  • Fee: Free tours or by show ticket
  • Operates by show-based access

Manila Baywalk

  • Includes the Manila Baywalk, plus the stretch of replenished white “Dolomite Beach” created under the Manila Bay rehabilitation plan
  • Locals report water quality issues and coastal reclamation projects that are gradually pushing the shoreline outward.

Manila City Hall Clock Tower Museum

  • Newest museum inside iconic City Hall clock tower

Paco Park

  • Site of Rizal’s secret burial (1896–1898) and GOMBURZA priests’ interment
